If there was a module to leverage the new mega.co.nz cloud storage system provided by Kim Dotcom.
Something with similar functionality to what the Amazon S3 Module does or being able to use it as Drupal's private_fs to store files onto. No idea how big of a development task it would be to accomplish something like this (sysadmin here), but throwing it out there.
hello, i just want to introduce myself to the drupal community. i'm a 6 year joomla user and just made the jump to drupal for a long-term project. i know it's not going to be a love at first sight relationship and there will be a learning curve, but i'm looking to make some good relationships here (punch and pie pending). looking forward to working with all of you, and hopefully one day i'll be able to help out a new user too.
I am studying an existing site in order to try and understand how to structure my first site that I've been assigned to build...
Looking at the blocks section, and by clicking on configure, I am unable to make any significant changes. This makes me think that they are all custom modules because of their custom names (to reflect the sitename). Also, looking at the list of Modules, there are modules to reflect all these Blocks.
We are considering Drupal as the front-end for one of our Portals. Say we have 250 million pageviews every month, will MySQL be the bottleneck? If so, what can we do? As NoSQL is not a viable option at the moment (Many modules don't work with it, for instance).
Recently, I've saw MTW Migrator for Joomla.
It seems to me easy migration content from old version to new version of website. Just type database name, passs and localhost and migrator do the thing
Could it be nice when Drupal have the similar module.
I would love to transfer all content from my old Drupal 5 to new installation of Drupal 7. It would be great when I could install similar module and easily transfer all articles to my new Drupal 7 site.
