I am doing this short survey about features of content management system for my college project. Please help me by taking part in this survey. Link for survey is http://www.kwn.edu.np/?q=node/4 .
Friends, I am new to Drupal, but I am not new to web development or PHP. I have well over 15 years experience with web related development, with the majority focused on PHP.
My place of employment decided to redesign the company website and to go with Drupal as a content management system. Ironically, I was the one who actually suggested we go with Drupal, after the production house we were talking to kept insisting it would be our best answer based on the things we wanted to do. We also setup training for me through the production house.
I'm thinking of using D7 overlays to present secondary page content to my site visitors. Overlays would be started by links from the home page and overlay on the home page content. However, overlay content is loaded using AJAX and a URL fragment. I am worried that this content will never be indexed by the search engine robots, since they do not read URL fragments and/or cannot load AJAX content. Even if they could, I feel that I would get a lot of fairly duplicate content (every time the content of the underlying home page plus the AJAX loaded pieces).
Hello,
I am interested in sharing a field between content types in D7.
However i have heard that this won't be supported in D8.
So this will make the D7 to D8 upgrade a pain.
Is this correct or am I wrong?
thanks
