Drupal 7.x

I'm dumbfounded by this - I transferred an existing, working, Drupal 7 live site onto XAMPP.

Only the front page shows, but without pictures, except for the site logo.

attempts to go to /user/login or any other page fail, 404.

the strange thing is, I have other drupal 7 sites there that I transferred today which are working fine.

does anyone have an idea of what went wrong and how to fix it?

Is it safe to upgrade from Drupal 7.38 to 8.6.11? My website (www.lohesurf.eu) has some customized modules installed and it makes me worried, if they still work after upgrade or not.

I have a query on a website that usually has heavy traffic.

Problem: Site got hangup two times with different errors.

1st time mysql warning:
