Core update from version 7.59 to 7.63

I'm planning to do my first core update from version 7.59 to 7.63.
I've tested it already on a non-production web site, and it seems to work fine.
I will take a full file and a database backup before the production update. How should I proceed with the restore if something goes wrong ?
I would need an exact action plan to be on the safe side.

Thanks,
Eva

Our services section and contact us web-form work on IE, Firefox and Safari but do not work in Chrome.

I have taken over the IT position at this place and I am 100% new to Drupal, although I have used Wordpress in the past.

Cannot update Drupal core through Drush

I am following the tutorial here to update Drupal 7 core using Drush:

https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/update/updating-drupal-using-drush

This is through the Drush console in Acquia Dev Desktop. I run the command

C:\Acquia\Websites\drupal-7.61>drush archive-dump

That gives an error:

Zend OPCache enabled but Cache hits 0

https://prnt.sc/mtygsy

Why I have always zero hits?

I'm using

PHP Version 7.2.15 + drupal cache + https://www.drupal.org/project/filecache

Login in Drupal without Login-Form

Hi Forum,

want to install an old drupal 7 webseite, from a database dump and all accroding files, on a new server.

I have only access to a phpmyadmin and via FTP.

  • PHP 7.2 on the server.
  • Clean URLs are off

I can't login as admin, though I have all login data available.
Even before, just by calling ...?q=user/login I got this error-message:

Unable to edit home page

My homepage on my website following my last update has changed appearance, with my html superimposed over the image at the top of my homepage, and both superimposed over the top of the homepage. When I go into edit mode, I am unable to edit any of the components of the page. Nor can I delete anything or move anything around.
