Educational/informational web site needs a Drupal expert familiar with database intensive projects. A half finished web site needs to be completed, or possibly started afresh. As well, I need some basic training in using/maintaining Drupal. See www.renyswildflowers.org to get an idea of the in progress project. For my live site (Filemaker based which I wish to convert to Drupal) see www.renyswildflowers.com.
I need a professional site developed with my design specifications. I am learning Drupal but I need the Basics quickly (approx 8-10 pages). I have photos and text:
I need graphics on some internal pages - 'boxes' like those at http://www.fpweb.net/sharepoint-hosting/ (eg. Small Business, Corp.). I want them to open up to additional pages with information listed when you click 'read more'....of course not identical
If you ever wished that the help documentation that you get inside your Drupal installation was just a little different, a little better, well now you can really step up and make a difference. Drupal 7 will, hopefully ;-), see the introduction of a new and completely overhauled Help system (read: we're starting over from scratch). However, this complete revamp means that all of the existing documentation must be re-written in order to work with the new system. So, it's our job to re-document the core modules.
This is not a job for one person! We need everyone to pitch in and help (no pun intended :-)). If everyone can even write just two pages, then we'll be very well off. In fact, we'll have all the help pages for the core modules done in a matter of days. And guess who it starts with? You!
So, the nice people at the Help System group on groups.drupal.org have assembled a work-flow for you to take part in.
I always found it weird that this seeming DOS vector was left open to the public so I guess it's by design that it doesn't work in D7 rather than a bug (i checked the current bugs before posting). Having said that it didn't stop it being useful sometimes so I'm wondering how/where I can trigger cron manually in the D7 interface.
