How can I automatically create a new content page after a new user is created on my site?

I dont like it.

I dont like the fact that there is a pop-up very time I want to tweek something, and i dont think the top navigation works quite like admin_menu . I think they should have stuck with a few of the 6x interface ideas. i could be suffering from 6x prejudice though.

I`m new using Drupal. I have some questions. After installing drupal, when i try to set it up requires a database. My problem is that i don`t have a database, but i have a website who is already finish and requires small modifications. I can connect to website and modify it there, or I must download it to my computer and after my work is done uploaded again on server?
Can you give me some links from where I can learn using Drupal, besides of the forum and the documentation available on this site? Thank you very much
