Just now, Drupla 6 or Drupal 7Beta?

Hi, we're learning Drupal because we want to use this platform for our new internet projects (web desing).

So, just in this time, we want to know if it is recomended for us to install for our new projects D7Beta or D6 and after update it.

I think if we install D7, we begin learning with the last technology and take advantage of the innovations. But by the other way, we think may be in D7 there are very few modules, and may be better to install D6 and in some months when the most of modules are updated, update our projects.

So, what would you do in our case?

Drupal/Web Photo Album/Selling Prints

What I am wanting to do is to create many photo albums of which will host all of my photos that I have taken over the years. I am having trouble creating one of these that displays my photos well and I am fairly new at drupal and dont quite understand it fully. Can anyone help me with this?

Menus in Drupal 7 - any good tutorials out there?

Hi

I'm struggling a little with menus (main / navigation / secondary links) in Drupal 7. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial? Preferably a video one.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help.

Cheers

Jibb

Installation profile

I have created an installprofile for a Drupal 7 site at http://github.com/lsolesen/larsolesen.dk. However, it does not enable the modules, I want to enable (http://github.com/lsolesen/larsolesen.dk/blob/master/larsolesen_dk.profile). Can anyone help?

7.0 verification on windows

Hi, I am installing Drupal 7.0 alpha 7 on windows xp (with apache, mysql/php). As the final step of the installation I reached the step of 'configure site'. Here I entered the site name, site email etc & did a 'save & continue'. I got a page where it said successfully installed but when I click on the link provided to view the site it only shows me a directory listing of the files in the docroot of apache.

I read the instructions a few times but am unable to figure out what I have done wrong. Can anybody help.

Submitting ICONS / GIFs to CVS

We have developed a new module and would like to contribute it to Drupal. Is it okay to include original / modified icons/pngs that is licensed under GPL (http://openiconlibrary.sourceforge.net/LICENSES.html package: open_icon_library-GPL) to be included in the module.
