UID1 user has no permissions after upgrade

Hi!

I followed this article to upgrade from 6.20 to 7.0:
http://drupal.org/documentation/upgrade/6/7

Evereything seems to happen correctly but at the very and of upgrade, when I try to connect to mysite.com/admin with user UID1, the "tasks" panel tells me I don't have any permissions for admin section.

Am I support to unset every roles given to UID1 from drupal 6.20? (I had created the admin role for user UID1 and some other users).
Isn't the user 1 suppose to have every access??

Footer Message

In Drupal 6 I could modify the site footer via Admin/Site Config/Site Info, however on a clean Drupal 7.0 install (downloaded yesterday after release) I assumed the Config/System/Site Details would hold this but the option of the form is not available.

Any suggestions / pointers?

I've also reset to the default template to rule out my error.

DatabaseSchemaObjectDoesNotExistException

My upgrade went great until I received the following error. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

(done)Overview(done)Review updates(done)Run updates(done)Review log(done)Error messageNotice: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 112 of 337 bytes in variable_initialize() (line 749 of /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/includes/bootstrap.inc).
Updates were attempted. If you see no failures below, you may proceed happily to the administration pages. Otherwise, you may need to update your database manually. All errors have been logged.

Drupal 7 and the RDFa doctype: how can we use it effectively

Drupal 7 is here... and we have a default doctype - RDFa. This is a new doctype to me as I hadn't even heard about it before this point, so I'm not sure where to go with it. How can we take advantage of the (supposed?) benefits of this new doctype - how should we alter our coding for it. Should we be adding new attributes to our tags in our modules? Does anyone have any thoughts or resources on the matter? As I use Drupal a lot, I would like to know more on the matter.
