I'm new to drupal and will begin with a 7.x install.. I have installed and begun toying with the product, but I am struggling with the management of content in a structure.
I have been building web sites (static html, coldfusion, etc..) for years and have 'apparently' developed a dependency of thinking of/organizing my sites in a "tree" or "directory" model.
Is anyone aware of a good blog post or other resource that discusses 'unthinking' this way?
Just installed Drupal 7. I've looked for a module for quite some time that will allow users to upload documents like .doc, .xls, .pdf, etc. into a library or folder which can then be displayed with document icon. I can't seem to fine one. I'd appreciate it someone can point me in the right direction.
A client wants to post their PR releases on Drupal pages. The questions is: Can we post these to look exactly the way they were created i.e., with correct font, image placement and page layout? I am under the impression that if we copy and paste the document(s) into a page, then the CSS will take over and display using the fonts and headlines. Thanks!
