Drupal 7.x

I have tried to upgrade my simple website from Drupal 6.20 to 7.0. However, the result looks like a dog's breakfast! The main body of the page is not in the body section but is below the menu. It looks horrible!!

I am looking for a module similar to this joomsport (Demo) a component for joomla. i am using the latest drupal 7 release. Some have told me to stick to drupal 6 but d7 seems much easier to use. I am also looking for a voting module that one can vote on several different categories then get the overall rating.

That's what I need: for example, there are two lists with text options. When you select something (for example, state) in the first list, the second list options (cities) are generated according to selected state. Can I do it by new content type in Drupal or I need something else? Thanks in advance.

Got the new wersion of core 7 and when I come to the site I get a blank site.
Any other got this problem?
