How do we install Drupal 6 with mysql 5 on a godaddy server?

Does anyone know how to properly install drupal 6 on a godaddy server, because right now I tried a lot of things and nothing seems to work, i was told it is not a very good host, but I already bought a month and now I must find a solution.

My major problem, i think is that godaddy when using an ftp client is that they create a subfolder for you which takes the name of the godaddy user name or the one you have chosen. The default folders are back ups and dsn, it does not have a folder called logs or public_html, which a lot of hosts have by default.

Unable to enable Clean URLs

I can't enable clean URLs! I get

Your system configuration does not currently support this feature. The handbook page on Clean URLs has additional troubleshooting information.

and the handbook is really confusing! Does anyone know how to get this working?

Show and hide blocks depending on language prefix

Would it be possible to hide or show a block based on the language prefix in a multilingual site? It seems that the prefix doesn't trigger the visibility setting. Can somebody confirm this?

Multiple Languages

I need to create an english and a spanish, is this possible which Drupal? How would you do it?

Thank you,

Sarah

Image Attachments to Nodes

I was wondering if there is a clear cut way to attach and/or upload images to nodes without contributed modules.

I know you can enable the upload module and use an img tag to display the uploaded image, but that doesn't seem very user-friendly, as you'd have to change the Input format to Full HTML to allow the img tag.

I also know about the Image module + Image Assist module (both contributed modules), but they pre-drupal 6.0.
