Does anyone know how to properly install drupal 6 on a godaddy server, because right now I tried a lot of things and nothing seems to work, i was told it is not a very good host, but I already bought a month and now I must find a solution.
My major problem, i think is that godaddy when using an ftp client is that they create a subfolder for you which takes the name of the godaddy user name or the one you have chosen. The default folders are back ups and dsn, it does not have a folder called logs or public_html, which a lot of hosts have by default.
I have just upgraded to Drupal 6 core and i am stupefy because i doesn't find taxonomy_access module and no other can replace it today.
Nobody want to update this module ?
Would it be possible to hide or show a block based on the language prefix in a multilingual site? It seems that the prefix doesn't trigger the visibility setting. Can somebody confirm this?
I was wondering if there is a clear cut way to attach and/or upload images to nodes without contributed modules.
I know you can enable the upload module and use an img tag to display the uploaded image, but that doesn't seem very user-friendly, as you'd have to change the Input format to Full HTML to allow the img tag.
I also know about the Image module + Image Assist module (both contributed modules), but they pre-drupal 6.0.
