I installed Drupal 6 today learned how to create pages and menus but I'm confused about adding images. The image module looks like its still in development, so I guess I could:
1. install 5.x instead and use the image module.
2. create html code in my editor (dreamweaver) then paste that into drupal page content form. How does html linking work? For example if I upload image.jpg to my root www folder what would be the relative path to a given page? because I don't even know where pages are saved to.
Greetings,
I am from Toronto, Canada and I offer Drupal installation with hosting. Together or separately.
Like one of the other posters here, I'll charge $50 for the basic drupal installation.
I am new to drupal and started evaluating the software today.
I have installed drupal V6.0 on my windows xp box. The installation wizard has completed successfully expect the SMTP error message, since there is no SMTP server running on my local box.
Once the installation is complete and I go to the "main page" of the website, if I click on any of the weblinks like "administration section" or "customize and configure" or "create content"...., it redirects me back to the root directory of the website and just displays the directory of the files.
Perhaps I am simple-minded, but I have created a fresh, blank install of 6.0, configured it and made my first post under the "story" category. The post was accepted, but will not publish. I hit "save," and it continues to refuse to publish. It always says "not published."
