We are a start-up multimedia publishing and creative services firm located in San Francisco's financial district. Specializing in the distribution of media through new and innovative platforms, most of which are web-based, we have an ongoing need for experienced web designers and programmers. In addition to media publishing, we are doing creative work for a number of start-up companies throughout the United States. Website creation is a vital part of the brand identity creation and we would like to hire programmers who can work with our designers to create standards-based, cross-browser compatible websites.
Specifically, we are looking to hire a part-time employee who has a strong knowledge of Drupal (or a similar content management system) and can integrate PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript and other languages into a CMS framework. Some of the specific tools we would like to integrate into our sites include a client log-in system that allows access to custom content, back-end file exchange and calendar programs, and an easily-accessible team message board. We already have a team of graphics designers on-site, so we are looking for someone who is more of a back-end coder than a web designer.
I got an account on shopping ads and downloaded the shopping ads module, but the module didn't work. I enabled it and configured it, but nothing happened. So then I added the code they gave me to a block:
I am using the webform module to create a small logical tree of pages based on user input. If User answers X send them this way, Y send them the other way. Under 'advanced' I checked "Redirect POST values" and the redirect is just a page within the drupal site that uses $_POST to grab the variable and then uses an "if" statement evaluate which way to send them. I am curious if anyone knows how drupal labels the variable when it posts.
Finally i hv decided on using Drupal for my future website requirements.
This would be my first Drupal Project. (wondering if this is the right choice or the 2nd runner up - codeIgniter suits better.) I hv developed 100+ website based on PHP/MySQL till now.
This time i am exploring the idea of developing an online magazine website.
The following functionalities have to be implemented.
Static pages like About us, Contact Information, History etc.
