Drupal 6.x

Hello there,

I'm wondering if there is a way to create a hierarchy of the roles so that I can control the edit/update permissions for user details.

Let's say a site has three user roles - Administrator, Manager & Contributor. And the permissions are as follows:

Administrator can create and edit the user details of Manager and Contributor.
Manager can only create and edit the user details for Contributor
Contributor can only update his/her own details.

Would it be possible to make a set up like this by writing a custom module?

Is it possible to create a sub menu in the Dreamy theme ? If yes how to proceed ?

I replaced in the Garland Theme (..../garland/images) the contents of menu-leaf.gif against an arrow gif (size 11x9 instead of the original 9x9). But there was no change, the old circle still appears. I cleared the cache of my explorer and in drupal (performance ... Clear cache), but that didn't Help.
Any hints??
Of course I cold duplicate and change the garland theme to "mytheme", but I only need this small change, there should be an easy way for this task.

I have noticed that you have removed Drupal 5.7 from the frontpage of drupal.org, understandable, but are you really sure that Drupal 6 is mature as a platform to push Drupal 5.7 into the darkness ?

I installed Drupal 6 and am using the Language switcher to switch languages.
I have enabled the Path, Locale, Taxonomy and Content translation modules but I can not seem to find a way to successfully translate content pages into Dutch.
I have tried many combinations using path, but the links created don't want to point to the right pages.
Is there a way to translate pages successfully and logically without having to install 2 seperate websites ???
If so what am I supposed to use, and do ?
Any help is highy appreciated.
