Installing Drupal

Today: Error only in Firefox, IE works.
http://localhost/drupal/ = blank page
http://127.0.0.1/drupal/ = normal

http://localhost working, too.

With XAMPP.
Any ideas? I am clueless.

I upload my first Drupal e-commerce website in a server and i faced a big problem (note that this problems does not exists to my localhost setup of the same site). I login as administrator (with full permissions) and when i try to go to Structure/Taxonomy/Catalog/List of Terms i cannot display the page with the list and i cannot add any new term!

It is in Greek and i get a page like this:

hello all, when trying to download any of the recommended releases of Drupal core I'm receiving a 403 Forbidden error from the sites server.

I'm a beginner and try ton install the database by FTP but i get the message :

PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 11 database disk image is malformed: SELECT expire, value FROM {semaphore} WHERE name = :name; Array ( [:name] => variable_init ) in lock_may_be_available() (line 167 of /home/pecheenthailande/portail-infos.com/includes/lock.inc).

Dang. I have done everything by the book and yet .... This is supposed to be easier than it is. I am not a newbie, use VI and have been supporting linux and unix for a decade. WTF? There are dozens of answers to this problem and none is like another. I could really use some help.

I am in a very complex situation let me explain you what exaclty I am tryin to achieve.

Let me first explain you about our existing system, I have a main website let say abc1.com which is my main website and it has three type of roles boy, girl and premium user.

Now I have a second website which is multisite installation of abc1.com called abc2.com.... til now we were having one single user table by which user can login to both website by their username and password.
