I am trying to install Drupal 6.20 on my Live server, but I got following error on my screen.
Warning: require_once(modules/block/block.install) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\ssculptureart.com\httpdocs\drupal-6.20\includes\install.inc on line 690
In the current (7.8) install, setting up fields, I notice I have an Upload Destination which allows one (count 'em ONE) selection : Public files. My old (very old) last version had a private upload path. How may I change this being able to also select and create a private upload path? I am sure there will be files (for example user files) which should not be "public files" so I need to address this before we let members in.
I have, to the best of my knowledge, followed the steps outlined in the d7 upgrade.txt. However I get a blank page when update.php is run. I am trying (as the subject says) to go from 6.22 to 7.8.
Well not exactly off to a great start with D7 sorry to say.
So I just installed D7 on my Hostmonster shared host.
Go to create new content - Create Basic Page.
Content creation form looks nice except one (critical) thing missing.
There doesnt appear to be any "body" input field.
So I can create a page with a title, a url but no content!
Same problem with - Create Article.
I've even tried switching to Garland for the admin theme.
Still no joy :-(
