Hello everyone, first of all I'm sorry if there is a better location for this posting. And now my problem :-)
I'm trying to move a Drupal site over to a MediaTemple (DV) account and keep getting the WSOD. If I move the site over, using the same procedures, to a MediaTemple (GS) account everything works just fine.
I've tried pouring through the WSOD docs to pinpoint the problem, but clearly, IMO, this has to be something unique to the settings on a DV account vs a GS account and the problem doesn't lie with Drupal itself.
I hope this is the proper forum to post this question...apologies if it is not.
I've been asked to setup drupal under centos 5.6 linux, and am having some trouble understanding how to configure apache 2 virtual hosts for use with Drupal to do what I've been asked. The examples I've found don't seem to correlate with what I've been asked to do. I'll list what I've been asked for below, and ask if anyone can offer advice, or point me to a good resource on it.
I have completed the install through install.php and I have used 'testsite.com' as my site name. The mysql db connection is fine with the change to 127.0.0.1 from localhost due to a resolving issue. I have created a folder 'testsite.com' in the /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/drupal-7.8/sites directory. I have completed the installation and get to the completed installation page, but when the link of 'proceed to your website' is used I get an 'index of' from which I have partially posted the content below.
I just installed Drupal 7.8 on an IIS local server and it worked well. I was logged with my administrator account, I created some other tests account and then I logged out. Then no way to log in again, I mean, whatever the test account or my admin account I used to log in, or whatever the web browser i used, I had the same white page with this message "HTTP/1.1 405 Method not allowed". There is not that much information about this problem yet on the web and I'm kind of beginner in all that web stuff.
Thank you very much for you answers

Good afternoon to all forum members.
I'm going to set up a project on two servers. In the first i'll install apache-php-mysql-drupal and the second will be only the / files.
The question I have is: if I run out of space on the second server, can i mount a third server and somehow arrange to store files. And so on fourth server?
