In the end of the installation proces (at 'Drupal installation complete'), I get this warning message:
Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/oversundet.com/:/var/www/tmp/) in file_directory_temp() (line 2401 of /var/www/oversundet.com/public_html/drupal-7.8/includes/file.inc).
After reading the settings.php explanation I can't make out if it's possible to use one database for 'default', another one for 'users', another one for 'sessions', etc, ( on account of my webhost allowing only 50 MB storage per DB ). It that's possible, how would the 'default', 'extra', etc arrays look like ?
I've been trying to access the FTP site for core and module downloads for 2 days with no success. I can't find any mention of the problem on line. Can you please let us know when the site will be back up?
I'm installing modules for a new site and was going smoothly until about 15 minutes ago.
I download the tar file and then upload it to my modules directory. When I attempt to expand it I get this error:
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
/bin/gtar: Child returned status 1
/bin/gtar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
I then tried to expand it on my hard drive and, instead of the module folder I got a file called: filefield-6.x-3.10.tar.gz.cpgz
This happened for several modules and with the zip files.
I am trying to download modules (views), and I either get a decompression error or a forbidden page.
I've tried this on 3 different Macs so far, same result. Tried tar files as well.
What do I need to do to download these things? I've done this in the past successfully, this seems to be a new problem.
