Hi, i installed drupal trough fantaastico delux on cPanel for my host account, but it's not workin. I installed it in the home directory and i was told ii would have to log on to: http://www.mywebsite.com/home , but when I do i only get this message: Fatal error: Class 'PDO' not found in /home/mywebsite/public_html/home/includes/database/database.inc on line 184
What might this be?
Thanks
I have postgres, apache, and PHP already running on my local windows 7 PC. I would like to add Drupal 7x to the stack but do not want to disrupt my existing Postgres /Apache installation - my database is to valuable to loose/corrupt.
I tried downloading the drupal executable but cant figure out from teh documentation where to install the Drupal file or how to connect to the exististing Apache server. Second problem is my browswer returns a blank white screen when I run localhost/Programfiles/Postgres/drupal/install.php
I run my local dev sites on subdomains, by adding a host and vhost for each site. But if I want to share the site with someone else on my network, how can they access it? I'd like to be able to take my laptop with me and let anyone check out a site I'm working on.
One idea is to have people access my site via subdomains, with an internal redirect, although I have a feeling that internal redirects like this need to be to directories, not another url. I could also avoid subdomains altogether.
I'm sure this has been done before, whats the secret?
Previously, I have installed Drupal because the system, crashed, i had to uninstall it.
After which, i installed it again, but I can't seem to login or create a new account.
When i tried to get a new password, it was told an email was sent, but none came into my account.
What can I do?
As you can see everything is almost working but we have an error box at the top of the page - No matter what I try I can't seem to get rid of this.
The error seems to be something to do with 'powered by ems' module - I'm not sure what this is as we didn't get to see the site before re-hosting (simply supplied with a disc of DB and files)
