Rewriting the URL when on HTTPS

I have two domain names, one for anonymous use (covs.nl) and one using SSL certificates (covs.org). Users may log on and are directed to the secure part.

Some of the links on the website are hardcoded to covs.nl. If one clicks on them, they are directed to the covs.nl and it seems they have been logged out.

My question is: is it possible to rewrite these URL's when someone clicks on them and only when that user is already logged on, e.g. by using some kind of RewriteRule?

Install fails on IIS 7

I know there are a few threads on this but none of the permission fixes solved my issue. I'm on a time crunch and have already been trying to get it to work for a couple hours and finally have given in to asking for help.

Setup:
I'm working on a site for a school that has their own IIS 7 server set up on campus running iis7, php 5.2.6, and has a MySQL server set up on a different server.
Mysql settings are mysql1.sitename.com not localhost. The password has a $ in it and I have tried it with $24 and escaping it.

Problem:
Initially I would receive errors about permissions but now I think I have solved this. After I type in all of the mysql settings and admin login information, it goes to the "Install profile" screen and says "Installing Drupal. Completed 1 of 0" and then immediately goes to "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred."
I have attached a screen shot here:
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/9181/screenshot20120107at920.png

Things I've tried:
Every configuration of read/write permissions on settings.php, /sites/default/ and creating the folders within default "/files" and "/private/files"
I even put a new copy of Drupal in its own directory and gave full control of the permissions to the entire folder with the same results.

Installing D7 with MAMP - error message before finished

Hi,

I'm trying to install Drupal7 locally using MAMP, as per Tom Gellar's Visual Guide, but once I get to the Configure Site screen, add all my info, and press "save and continue", I arrive at an error page that says "The website encountered an error while retrieving http://localhost./install.php?profile=standard&locale=en. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly."

I checked that the servers are working, which they are, any suggestions as to what's wrong?

hello dear Drupalers, good day!

well i am pretty new - and i have terrible issues in installing drupal on a dedicated server (which is 6 years old ... sure thing) To begin with the begining:

During the installation process i have noticed several warnings (see below) Has anyone else been confronted with similar issues during the installation-process like this? Well all i found is that the issue may or may not hit performance issue (of the server),
The error is noted in several threads - to be frank - in many many threads - i have seen it in threads that report this bug for the past 5 years: (/from 2007 to 2012). Well this issues can be named the the long-term-bug, cant they!!?

In order to give all those who are faced with the same issue a little overview i collected all the threads i found:

see them here - well they report all the same!

install with corrupt files [buggy package]: see the online-demo running: can this get fixed?

Good evening dear drupal-friends

pretty new to drupal and also [pretty] new to this forum - so do not bear with me. Sorry for the newbie-questions... or just visit the site - http://campus-24.com/?q=stream and http://campus-24.com/ to get a first glance of what happened. with the installation of drupal-commons.

question: can this be fixed - well it is lookin like an error with corrupt files - but i am not very sure waht happened. So i need your advice.

Here the full story! after strugglin several weeks with drupal-commons 6.2.3 (based o november 2011) with issues on htaccess (my admin added and choose some certain options) i finally was able to install the system on the webserver.

Note - yesterday i installed on the local lamp with ease - all went nice and no error at all appeared.
Well today - the drupal-commons was installable on the webserver as well - Note: i gote some errors -which were reported during the intallation - (at each station of installation i got some lines like shown below)
But - nonetheless the installation-process was continued and fulfilled - i was able to choose all options and configuration-steps.
Interesting detail: There were onle 149 tables been created - not 154 like yesterday on the local installation. !?! Interesting - isnt it?!
