I am creating a local copy of a drupal site so I can do development on it. The database for this site is pretty huge and I had to use a utility called "bigdump" which I have used successfully before to restore the database locally.
When I go to access the site, however, I get the following errors:
Warning: Table 'reform.system' doesn't exist query: SELECT name, filename, throttle FROM system WHERE type = 'module' AND status = 1 AND bootstrap = 1 ORDER BY weight ASC, filename ASC in C:\xampp\reform\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 136
Hello everyone,

I get this error "Failed to connect to your database server. The server reports the following message: SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'abc'@'localhost' (using password: YES)".while installing drupal on 000webhost server.I know that they do not use 'localhost' their's MySQL hostname is in 'mysqlXX.000webhost.com' format. In order to make it work i have to change host name from "localhost" to "mysqlXX.000webhost.com". Does any one can help me where i can find database connection preferences.
Hi, I have acquired a new site to work on and would like to have a local install running on xampp for testing purposes. Is there a different procedure to install a site locally with an already existing database?
