Sorry, this probably isn't the correct forum, but I didn't see any "general questions' forum...
Anyway, I've searched around, including the forums, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a simple drop down menu- one that, when your mouse hovers over the menu, the children items appear for you to click on. It seems like such a trivial thing, but is proving very difficult to figure out!
How to properly set files permissions in whole Drupal's directory tree?
I've got typical Drupal project, with all files under webroot dir.
This could be unsecure, but I've read that it isn't easy task to move files out of the webroot dir.
So the question is: how to make application as secure as possible?
I can't block access to all directories containing (esp. /modules dir and /sites/all/modules) source code because them contain
some .js, .css and images files as well.
I would post this in Post Installation, but that forum looks a little jacked up with spam at the moment.
Q: Drupal 7.14 has been installed on Fedora 16. Under Admin->Reports, there is no option to view "Recent Log Messages." Going back to Configuration->Development->Logging and Errors, The option to see all messages is selected, but there is no field to set the number of records saved in the Database. Its just not there at all.
While working on a project I have found that a few modules are uploaded to the modules folder under the root folder of the site and a few are coming under the sites/all/modules folder
