I installed drupal 7.16 on my server/webhost. But because of a rather stupid fault of my own I corrupted the installation. (I imported the wrong database while I hadn't made a back-up of my old database). So, I decided the simplest course of action was to delete the database via my cpanel, and to delete the Drupal installation by deleting all the drupal files in my File Manager.
Then I tried to re-install Drupal. But that's when I run into my problem. Some empty '.htaccess' file keeps re-appearing in my file manager, even though I keep deleting it. I tried changing the permissions of the folder that contains the file (and the permissions of the file itsself), but that doesn't work either.
To begin a new installation I unpack the drupal 7.16 files in my file manager, but when I go to my domain I only get an error. And I can't re-install Drupal.
