Installing Drupal

Drupal is an utter disappointment at this point.

Running MAMP with default ports, 5.5.3 PHP, increased timeout and memory limits, complete grants of file permissions, create settings.php file (or not, as it gives same result), and the install on 7.23 flat out doesn't work.

- As you navigate through the wizard, when you reach the step to setup the database, it simply refreshes the page (It creates tables in the database but you have no way of confirming if all of it is there or not).

I'm new to Drupal ... so challenges are there ...

I'm trying to install plupload ... other modules require it to run ... Can it be installed like the other Drupal modules? I'm using a some general public version, but is says there is a missing .info file when I try to install it.

Hi I'm trying to migrate my drupal site from my local dev environment to the host. I've uploaded the db and sites files, edited the settings.php file but when I go the the main page I get the below error without any of the default theme

Hi. I have install commerce kickstart and I'm now stuck at page 2: Verify requirement. It says Missing modules: Commerce_cart
I have moved the modules from profiles/commerce_kickstart/modules into sites/all/modules but it doesn't work.

I get an error on drupal 7 I can not fix it . If someone could help me I am new in drupal and i need this for my job so please help because i don't know what to do .

i have windows 8 and installed xampp with php 5.5.3, when i try to open a site from localhost, this message is appearing:
