Upon editing permissions for the user groups I get this error:
user error: Can't create/write to file '/tmp/root-tmp.01b9f1266b0238c1/files/#sql1d14_4c10_0.MYI' (Errcode: 2)
query: SELECT r.rid, p.perm FROM role r LEFT JOIN permission p ON r.rid = p.rid WHERE tid = '' ORDER BY name in /home/virtual/site26/fst/var/www/html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 69.
Granted that the query really doesn't run in phpMyAdmin, the tmp file that it's trying to write starts with a # and therefore can't be written (even manually). Has anybody had these problems? Thanks
i just upgraded my blog to drupal 4.1. i have a couple of friends who can post blogs as well and it used to be true that their contents was autopublished to the frontpage. now i gave them all the rights (post content), however their postings are still waing for approval (i dont have the queue module on my site so i have to pick teh postings up myself as uid=0 and approve them)
i am sure that i missed a cjeckbox somewhere. anyone more clue than me?
Suddenly I have a corrupted Newsfeed page - It does not show my right hand column. On the other pages it does!
also I get strange errors sometimes:
Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Too many connections in /home2/www/langemark/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 12
Too many connections
This first occurred yesterday, when I experienced a "glitch" and after that my site was very slow for a while.
How do you do it? I would like to add a message to the front page of my district's Intranet much like the message on the front page of the Drupal site. I've searched around here for a while and can't seem to find anything that would show me how to do it. Any help is much appreciated.
I've managed to get Drupal working so that all posts go directly to the front page, by setting the front page type to user. The trouble with this is that now I can't use ratings and recommendations. Is it possible to rate individual nodes directly, without using the submissions queue?
Also, is there a simple way to add permalinks to displayed nodes?
Hi there. I'm one of the volunteer webmasters of www.ocua.ca We are considering using Drupal as the overall site management system. If you don't mind, I've got some questions for the community / developers that hopefully you can answer in order to help us make a final decision on whether the Drop is right for us.---
