Unable to put PHP code as content in a static node

Whenever I set the page type to PHP anything after the opening php tag is deleted.

Error after upgrading

I get this error which i'm not really sure what is. It seems like my CVS and some part of the menu system are not compatible?

Question about front page and about themes, and a block

i just setup http://www.paulsation.net/red-nite/drupal/ for a local band, however i would like to do some more custome work to the site.

one: I enable 'appear on frontpage' and 'static' on my posts but they dont appear on the front page before the user logs on, what am i not doing right.

second: where can i find a theme with a black background, red trim and gray or white text?

Themes weirdness

Since it seems that taxonomy can organize entries by category (which is what I was looking for), I decided to install Drupal.
The installation was smooth and painless, but while I was playing with it, suddenly, themes stopped working. The last thing I did was enabling the Syndicate block.

Profane question: news organized by category

Hi. I need to build a website for a cultural magazine and I have decided to use a site management system which will help the writers with no HTML knowledge to post their articles with ease and will improve the organization of the contents as well.
Since last week I've started to look for a CMS that could satisfy my needs.
The content of the website mainly consists of two parts: a blog and the articles which are added monthly.
I'd like to have both on the front page, in the center block, one in a column and the latter in another one.

Error: Expected ')'

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

I couldn't find an answer to this problem anywhere else but I did see that someone else had it as well, so I assume it's a bug.

Error: Expected ')'

Line: 82
Char: 25
Error: Expected ')'
Code: 0
Url: http://something//drupal/index.php

Only happens on the homepage (index.php) and prevents blocks from being shown.

If this has been fixed or addressed somewhere could someone point me in that direction?
