Users logged OK, admin get WSOD - access denied (watchdog)

Hi,
When I log into my site, as an ADMIN I got a WSOD.
Als a normal user, after login, I see the frontpage.

No errors found for PHP or in logfiles.
Only the watchdog table gives some hints. I went to the login page, which behaves normally, truncated the watchdog table. Login in as admin, then WSOD.
1.) uid:0, type:access denied, message:frontpage, severity:4 {login page, after browser refresh CTRL+F5}
2.) uid:1, type:user, message:Session opened for %name., severity:5 {after login}

Correct directory to install Drupal on Localhost Linux machine

Hi,

I have a basic understanding of both Drupal and Linux. I am using Debian7 and Drupal7.

I have installed LAMP and Drupal, and all is working as intended. Drupal is installed in /etc/drupal/7 but also in /usr/share/drupal/7.

My question is this: - when I update Drupal, or edit its files, do I edit /etc/drupal/7 or /usr/share/drupal7

Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I cannot find any advice. Thanks in advance.

Download link not found on Drupal website.

In release note page there is no link to download drupal file.

Can anyone show me where the download link is?

D7 not working on local WAMP

I copied my Drupal 7 site from production server (Linux) to my local WAMP server.

First I had this error “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of X bytes exhausted (tried to allocate Y bytes)” and I solved it by increasing the memory amount to 512M in php.ini file.

Now, I can’t login to my Drupal site and I have “The file could not be created” error.

When I googled, I found out that to solve the problem is to go to admin-> config -> file system and change the tmp directory, but I can’t log in.

How can I fix the problem?
Thanks
