Installing Drupal

Hi there, I have a error when I try to install drupal 7.28. I am using xampp. I had not encountered this error when using drupal 7.27. The error code is below.

DatabaseConnectionNotDefinedException: The specified database connection is not defined: default in Database::openConnection() (line 1678 of Y:\xampp\htdocs\sunriserealty-web\includes\database\database.inc).

For a number of months i have been working in my own drupal website. It is like a hobby for me. I have a local Drupal installation using wampserver.

I am working in my local system with drupal 7. Now when I moved my code to the Linux server and changed the settings.php I am facing the following error "Alert!: HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error".

Can someone help me with this?

I am in a deadline of showing the project to the client on tomorrow.

tried to install 7.28 on a empty server. Install wizard went weird and ended with a blank page: http://www.mysite.be/install.php?profile=standard&locale=en
Refreshing did not help, other browser did not help, clearing all cache did not help ...
Anyone with a similar problem?

Hi, I have been trying to install dropal but I failed again and again.

I read and search in internet and follow most of the solutions, but I could not fix the problem.

Step: Verify rquirements : I could not fix unicode library, I install mbstring and add to my php.ini but nothing.

Step: Set up database: I can't select mysql. I have found this problem in google, but I could not managed.

The unicode library is not so important, as far as I know, but the second yes.

Trying to install basic Commerce Kickstart on GoDaddy cPanel. Anyone had any luck. I have been told you put this info below in a .user.ini file. But not working. Also tried the php.ini and php5.ini. Didn't work.
