Installing Drupal

Drupal Installation issues with 7.36.

I am new to Drupal. I have tried several times to install on my webhosting provider. The first two times, I used the Standard install and received the following error:

I'm slowly teaching myself Drupal... next step is to understand how to migrate data from a live Drupal 6 to a development Drupal 7 site.
With some help, I figured out the basics of Migrate, and am now looking migrating calendar data.
The d6 site in question has a calendar with repeating events. While I could plow through learning how to migrate that on the job, with real data, it's complicated enough to make my head hurt, so I'm procrastinating.

Hello...i follow the instruction...start from scratch...using the core...set it up to the directory to my e:drive under drupal folder...everything done but i can't load the local site...what i do wrong?

I have downloaded drupal latest copy: Drupal8 Beta 9 and while during installation (Standard) on WAMP, I got the following error

"The installation has encountered an error.
Please continue to the error page

An AJAX HTTP request terminated abnormally.

I do not work in Drupal often. I created a few sites in it some time back and continue to help clients with them. So I am rusty...

I am moving the site from one hosting service to another. I have the files backed up... I have the database exported. I have uploaded the files to the new site, created the database and imported tables from the backup, and I have changed the settings.php for the database connection.

Moving from an old physical fedora server set up to virtual Centos 6 server.
Copied over the MySql databases and drupal directories.
Copied configs for Apache. Set the drupal directories
php installed.

I disconnect the physical and connect the virtual but when I try to visit the two drupal sites I get the Apache 2 Test Page and this in the http error log.
