Cannot install Open Atrium

Hi,

New to Drupal so apologies if I have missed something.

I'm trying to install Open Atrium and I'm having problems. (I downloaded the full Open Atrium distribution and it's a totally new install)

It's all uploaded to the server etc and I'm running the install.php. Got through a few pages, then got to the adding extra modules page. Selected the modules and it got to over 90% installed then showed an AJAX error (I think - can't remember and now it's a different one)

Overview & help with drupal database on Win 7

I hope this is not another dumb question. I am a newbie and I'm trying to wrap my brain around how Drupal/Acquia Dev Desktop works.

I clicked Local database from Dev Desktop. I see many tables. I am very familiar with Microsoft Access. Access databases, no matter how large or complex, appear to Windows as a single file. Is this the case for Drupal databases as well? If so, where is the Drupal database stored? What is its name? Is it stored at C:\Program Files (x86)\DevDesktop\mysql? I get the impression that MySQL does not appear to Windows as a single file.

Reinstalling Drupal

I was considering moving to a wordpress theme so I renamed my HTML_public file to HTML_public3. I changed my mind and tried renaming back to HTML_public but my drupal site won't reload. Can anyone please help me. Thanks so much.

I did reload drupal cms from cpanel and then tried moving my HTML_public3 to the HTML_public file.

Overview & help with drupal files and folders on Win 7

I am a newbie. Please forgive me if this is a dumb question.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around what is Drupal and how it works.

I installed Acquia Dev Desktop successfully on my Win 7 computer. I want to make sure that I backup all files and folders, but have discovered that Drupal/Acquia is scattered just about everywhere on my hard drive. I found the following (where "Sam" is my Win 7 username).

- C:\Program Files (x86)\DevDesktop
- C:\Users\Sam\Sites
- C:\Users\Sam\.acquia
- C:\Users\Sam\.drush

Issues installing Drupal 7 Commons

I have a number of not for profit clients that would love to use drupal commons.

We just can not get it installed. Most of them use hosted webspace on a shared server - so we don't have access to the php.ini and we have one DB per domain - so use the table prefix for each application.

I managed to get over a few issues by adding info to the .htaccess file.

I am only seeing about 30 DB tables installed not the 70+ I should have and I get as far as entering the site info and then get a blank screen - after adding some debug I can see:
