We are trying to host a site internally on a vm. How do we use dev desktop to display the site on our internal network vs only producing a local copy of the site displayed to the login user?
I am trying to install D 8.3.3 on Windows Server 2012 and IIS 8.5.
I have wincache enabled in PHP 5.6.30
I can get to the install screen at core/install.php but with each click of the button to continue I have to restart the application pool to get to the next installation screen until I get to the database screen and click continue, I can't restart the application pool to move forward.
I get this error----Installing Drupal
The installation has encountered an error.
Please continue to the error page
I'm creating a new drupal8 site, locally, to test some content not created with modules. I installed using acquia desktop dev2, and everything worked properly. I created a menu link that redirects to "myDrupalSite/sites/test/index.php", but it seems like anything beyond the main site's directory is giving the SSL error "This site can’t provide a secure connection". I tried modifying the .htaccess to include the directories and the specific php file, but that isn't working.
I have a problem with one of my views that is not showing properly. I have to know which module is causing this, but I've got so many modules installed that it is too much work to uninstall them one by one to check.
Is there maybe a possibility to see per page which module is active?
On my virtual server is Varnish installed. I am not allowed to change and upload the default vcl file myself. My provider does that for me, so I can not tweak and try and error myself. Since my server was upgraded with PHP7 and Varnish it is super fast. But we concluded that Varnish is not fully working. Also checked it on http://www.isvarnishworking.com/. It says Yes! Sort of!
