Plan for Taxonomy Menu 7.x-1.6 release

Taxonomy Menu 7.x-1.5 was released in April 2014. Since then most of the development has been understandably focused on the 8.x-3.x branch, which is very much appreciated! However, since there have been quite a few 7.x-1.x issues fixed since the last release (referenced below) would it be possible to tag a 7.x-1.6 release that also includes the pending commit from Issue #1064510: 'Display number of items': Node count should include descendants? Additionally, which of the current 7.x-1.x-dev issues that needs work and needs review should be includes in this next release?
