I'm not entirely sure if this belongs here, but it seems to confuse people that report it as a case in #2128619-67: Project usage/download/install statistics not being generated in a timely manner...
It is known that sometimes it so happens that the very first (most recent) date row of stats in the projects' stat pages reports "0" installations. Perhaps it would be a good idea to hide this row while it holds no value so not to confuse people.

rjacobs CreditAttribution: rjacobs commentedIt's probably good to have a dedicated issue for this. Perhaps this could also be expanded to include a discussion about why the stat updates are not happening uniformly across all projects, etc.
Based on the discussion in #2128619: Project usage/download/install statistics not being generated in a timely manner, I'm also wondering if this should be placed into a more targeted issue queue. "Drupal.org infrastructure" seems like the right place, though I'm not 100% sure. I'm just beginning to think the Drupal.org D7 upgrade queue may be best reserved for problems that have been linked specifically to the d.o. upgrade as opposed to issues rooted in other sub-systems.

markhalliwellMarking this as a bug because it causes people to think that the update/statistics system is broken, when it really just takes some time to crunch/store the numbers.
