Thanks @truls1502, it sounds great with a fresh release. Would this bring the module closer to getting covered by the security advisory policy? Like it says on the module page:

This project is not covered by the security advisory policy.
Use at your own risk! It may have publicly disclosed vulnerabilities.

A lot of work has been done recently (which we all appreciate). Is there already a schedule for the next 7.x release? Stable or rc?

Drupal 7 core has just been updated to 7.61 which adds support for PHP 7.2. One of the fixed issues in the list above removes the use of each which has been deprecated in 7.2.

Having a proper release which has been updated to support 7.2 would be great. This won't stop me doing an upgrade of our production environment to PHP 7.2 but makes development nicer.

There are not quite many contributors that contributing to this module yet, so I am trying to do my best job I can.

I will release a new release once we all have fixed all from the issue list on admin_menu:

That remaining list that you linked is quite long and the last release is quite old.

I recommend that maintainers make releases every 3 months if there is something to release. That way contributors don't get frustrated that their bugfixes or features never get released.

You don't have to release 1.0 if you want to wait on that list, but another RC candidate would be really appreciated.

In the list, it is only 14 issues left. However, you have a good point. So let me try to release an RC today!

And hopefully, I will also have the other contributors' and maintainers' help to contribute this one module. :)
