That appears to be automatically generated text which is clearly wrong. The Ubercart project owners have no control over that text. I don't know when that started showing up there.

That status comes from #2578191: [ubercart] Ubercart. Issues in that project have overloaded statuses which appear on the project page. https://www.drupal.org/project/contrib_tracker#statuses has the details of what each means.

I updated #2578191: [ubercart] Ubercart to get a more-accurate message on the project page. The contents of that issue should help point people to the right place for Ubercart’s D8 status.

Then why did you reopen that issue? You can read that I'm definitely not in favor of that.
Instead please change it to "Closed (works as designed)", which as you can see is what I tried to do several times.

Sorry, I didn’t spot the difference in the “Closed (works as designed)” vs. “Closed (won't fix)” statuses being used. I followed up that “works as designed” is okay as far as I can tell.

That’s a very reasonable. I left the status as-is since the current status is relatively accurate for contrib_tracker, and I’m not interested in edit wars.
