We will be taking git.drupal.org down (ssh, http and git:// protocol access) for 30 minutes starting at 10AM PDT (1700 UTC) September 14th. This maintainence window is for updating our git daemon to support updated security features. Please follow the @drupal_infra twitter account for updates during the downtime and thanks for your patience!
I have come to the conclusion that the best way to create a responsive site is to inform the server of device capabilities before it constructs and serves the site. After looking at WURFL and OpenDDR, I decided that the only thing that is going to suite my needs does not yet exist, so I have created Agent IQ.
Does the learning curve on the next version of Drupal make you apprehensive? Are you able to find answers to the questions that you have? Share these and a few other responses in a 1-minute Drupal poll.
I have been commissioned to write and article for a major UK IT magazine and part of it ( 400 words ) will be on the day in the life of a Drupal Developer. I am looking more for someone who makes a living building solutions with Drupal rather than someone who writes Drupal modules. If you think this is you then fame could be yours ! : )
Do you have your own blog site that you update frequently? Do you tend to seek and gather information from other sources to maintain your blog site to be up-to-date? If you consider yourself as an active blogger and you have a blog site that is news- or research-oriented (as opposed to the personal journal type), we would like to talk with you about your blogging-related information activities, your decisions related to selecting (or rejecting) content for your blog site, and general credibility issues.
I am John Simpkins and am working with an Associate Professor in the School of Information at the University of Michigan. This study is a part of the larger research project called “Credibility Assessment in the Participatory Web Environment,” funded by the MacArthur Foundation (http://credibility.si.umich.edu).
If you are interested in this study, we would like to talk with you over the telephone or Skype for about 45 minutes. We would like to interview you about your blogging activities in general. As a token of our appreciation, you will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card. To be eligible, you have to be 18 years of age or older. Interested? Please send an email to sicredibility@umich.edu along with a link to your blog site.
