New Channel Nine Theme

The Channel Nine theme has been added to the Drupal theme respository. It's a port of the "Channel Nine" theme found (by the same name) on www.openwebdesign.org. This is a 4 column layout. The theme uses the PHPTemplate engine. The theme uses the new regions available in 4.7 so it will NOT work in 4.6.

Drupal API Cheat sheet

An excellent resource for any new (or forgetful!) Drupal developer is available in the form of a "cheat sheet".

Juan Mellado is the guy to thank, he's mapped out all the 4.7 API in to a handy image which you can print out and keep to hand whilst coding.

I don't have a clue what the blog post says, just click on the thumbnail image.

Goodstorm Is Announcing Efforts To Translate Into Chinese and Hindi

As a global community, we are looking to translate goodstorm.com into Chinese and Hindi.

I am looking for help to localize goodstorm.com into Chinese and Hindi and perhaps other Indian languages. If you have experience, pls email me at yobie goodstorm {DOT} com. Initial work would be a direct translation of the site content, feature and functions.

Also, I hope I posted this on the appropriate forum. If not, please accept my apologies.

Thanks a lot to all of you.

The Drupal Story?

Can anybody tell me the story of how/why Drupal came about? You know "two guys/gals sitting in a garage..."

Drupal videos from Drupalcon - Dries and other interviews

If you didn't make it to Drupalcon - or just want to relive the memories - I made a video log which is now online.

What about a 4.6 GOLD release?

It seems that we are moving to the 4.7 version fairly quickly. Since 4.7 seems to be significantly different in the way that it handles forms and PHPTemplate etc.. and requires all the modules to be converted. Has anyone thought of making a 4.6 Final Release? It seems a good way to put closure to that version. New people who want a mature platform should continue to install and use 4.6. Everyone interested in using and building the newest thing should go with 4.7.
