Everything is installed fine, but why the following big red warning just for a disabled "Update notifications"?
One or more problems were detected with your Drupal installation. Check the status report for more information.
If i don't want updates that's my choice, and then it should either be a notice or nothing at.
Afterall it's not really a security issue, or is Drupal like Windows OS???
I doubt you people want to be associated with M$... LOL!
I have encountered a problem with my Drupal 5.3 site where whenever I am logged in as the Administrator, I am unable to access the "Administer" page using the Administer link in the navigation bar. Whenever I try, I get "Page not found".

Has anyone done a significant demonstration of Drupal, preferably in a higher education environment? I am most interested in demonstrating Drupal's features and functionality in a fairly strict use-case based demo format with a particular emphasis on multi-site functionality.
If you've given such a demonstration, I'd would very much like to communicate with you and share information if possible.
Drupal seems like a nice CMS but it has some issues and the one I hate the most is the forum. When I have problems I typically look for solutions in the forum or post. However, the Drupal forum has a search bar that makes it hard to search the forums specifically. Using something like Mybb, SimpleMachines or phpbb would make things much easier.

Also when I try to enter a new page on any language, it won't show up on the menu unless I click on "You may also edit the advanced settings for this menu item". After submitting it again, then it shows up.
