Deprecated - Usability feedback

I have to say that I`m completely astonished! I mean I heard of drupal for the first time on friday, then downloaded it and now it is sunday evening and I feel like as if I`m a drupal junky now : ).
I downloaded version 6 at first and of course had my problems (mySql what? php who? Oh, module not available yet) but fortunately my provider has those mySql skills, so I just got the database infos, through them into drupal and was able to start a new website IN MINUTES!!!

I'm just begginer in all that, so sorry... but how to make that width of page was fixed? I was looking for such themes but didn't get get how to do it. In administer meniu in themes there is no such setting in other sections I also dodn't found it. Maybe I need instal something more to change this paramete? Im using bluebreeze theme. Thanx.

I am using nodeprofile, and nodefamily modules where i can restrict the number of nodes a user can post. But when i restrict general users of my site to say 5 nodes per user, i as administrator am also restricted to the same limit. Is there a work around it, any help ll be greatly appreciated.

i need to change one of the user's email id. it has something called 'telia.com' extension. eg xyz@telia.com
under admin>user account>account settings>
when i change the email id and submit the info, i get this message "The e-mail address xyz@telia.com is not valid."
why is it so. i know the email id works fine.
can u pls help. it is important i update the email address field.

Modx CMS has this wonderful feature of allowing you to move your site anywhere, without ever having to worry about updating domain URLS in the database. In Drupal, we always need to change the domain urls in the database in order for it to function properly between moving from local to live server and back. This is both annoying and very unnecessary. I can not stress enough how much a relief it is to be able to move your site without needing to edit the database.

ie

domain.local to domain.com to domain.local
