Consultant(s) Needed for THEME DESIGN and style/display changes on 4.6/4.7 drupal install

Hello, VIZ Media is looking for a combination of skills to assist us in launching three distinct Drupal-based sites:

1) Information Technology blog/news site -> Mostly just need help creating a beautiful theme to impress those lining our (and your) pockets - we're too busy supporting our users and projects to take time off for good design;

2) Front facing VIZ blog/news site, as well as contest/registration manager -> USing existing modules and/or creating new ones, we need a site that will handle all the end-user interactivity for viz.com -> We have a lot of static-ish html, and flash-based sites, but where we need to ask for information, enter people in contests, take surveys, and provide forums, we'd like to use Drupal. We see some* need to work on existing survey/poll modules to match up with our various types of contests, but it's probably not a ton of work. Again, needs to be beautiful and* well documented, theme-wise... We have our own in-house web staff, but they are very hand-crafty types who are swamped in (mostly flash-based) work right now... So, we need a good looking and maintainable (but hands-off) infrastructure to show to them so they don't argue endlessly to just do everything by hand forever.

3) Magazine site for one of our publications. For this, we have all the pieces, but again, we need help with display issues (changing how (and if) titles are displayed, for example), and we need it to look very un-drupaly... Really true of all the above, but in this case we have existing magazine design formatting to use as a guide.

Wanted: A skilled Drupal consultant

I'm currently working with Drupal (using the Civicspace distribution) on a couple of projects aimed at developing online communities within an international social/business movement. As a result of this activity I'm now in discussion with the relevant global NGO about how they might consider migrating/evolving their online presence from a large and complex static site (built with Dreamweaver), to a content management system.

Given the complexities of their situation, and my albeit limited knowledge of Drupal, I'm inclined to recommend to this client that they go with Drupal as their platform of choice. However, as a relative newcomer myself to Drupal. I'd like to work with someone who is far more skilled and experienced in setting up Drupal-based sites.

Interested? Then read on...

I'm meeting with representatives from the NGO in the next couple of weeks, with a follow-up session planned soon after at their European HQ. In order to move the project forward with confidence I'd like to identify and make an agreement with a skilled Drupal consultant, so that I can confidently move forward with these negotiations, safe in the knowledge that I can depend on the consultant's expertise to guide me (and my client) towards a cost effective solution that will meet their needs and expectations.

I guess the person I'm looking for will fit the following broad description:

Wanted to hire someone to help me set up my drupal site

I would like to hire someone to set up my site. I own the hosting server and have full access to it but Im not familiar with drupal and want someone to help me set it up ( you would do most all setup) and get it running the way I envision.

www.gamestoreowners.com is the current url.
