Request for Information - Designing theme for website

The intent of this post is to request assistance with developing a theme for a website based on the customer's existing site www.mentoringmen.org

Brief Background
I am a volunteer for a non-profit organization which is looking into options for replacing it's current website www.mentoringmen.org. The organization is currently looking for a website which will offer "portal" features. After doing some research, I installed the drupal 4.7 and I have been impressed with the functionality. The drupal test site is http://goto.mentoringmen.org ignore the theme.

Please reply to this post or send me an e-mail to eparrish@ec.rr.com providing an estimate of what it will cost to develop a theme utilizing the existing customers website www.mentoringmen.org

At this point, the ideal would be to use a header similar to the www.mentoringmen.org site and the layout of the "friendselectric" theme. NOTE: The header of www.mentoringmen.org has rotating images.

Tentative time frame:
August 15 - Sept 15 - Identifying functionality for site and drupal modules meeting needs
August 15 - Sept 30 - Identify designer for theme module, continuing developing functionality for site
Sept. 30 - Oct 30 - Contract and work with designer to complete theme
Oct. 30 - Nov 30 - complete testing, finalize site and modifications
December - Month of annual banquet to begin promoting site

NOTE: I understand there is a lot more involved than outlined above but this provides some general time frames.

Drupal developers interested in social services?

We are looking to develop our communications in our Housing and financial education programs in a service organization in San Jose, California. We have a postion open that was previously basically an accounting job and keeping track of our contracts and numbers for various housing programs in our Economic Development Services department.
My thinking is that this position could made to help us develop a drupal site that we could better communicate with and also provide a better was to generate reports and keep track or statistics.

Paid Contract - San Francisco

We are currently looking for a contract (potentially full-time) PHP developer with strong Drupal skills (specifically in module development), since we effectively manage multiple Drupal platforms for clients with many custom modules.

Internally, we also have an ongoing need for other PHP related projects. This is a perfect opportunity (for the right person) to work on future contracts and/or secure Full-Time employment - we have multiple ecommerce web-properties that will also require extensive work over time.

GREAT work environment too...!

(JOB) Looking for drupal guru to work with us on add modules and requirements

We currently run drupal as the CMS for our website. We would like to augment our current capabilities to include podcasting, streaming audio/video, ad banner placement, and more. Additionally, creating a recurring billing process using the e-commerce module, as well as an on-line store and tying that to user accts. Finally, optimizing the efficiency of image upload/download.
Most of this is using existing modules- we don't have the time to do integration testing, but would like the latest stable version of drupal to be used.
