there are a few bugs in our install like search not working, views implementation, some content type issues, something screwy with taxonomy, and a path_auto module problem. we can't afford full market rates but if there is anyone out there with some expertise email us at admin(at)theicarusproject(dot)net.

Although I have installed and configured 2-3 Drupal sites for nonprofit organizations (as a volunteer), I find that the site I am currently working on is taking far too much of my time. I am willing to pay for consulting (and some coding) from someone or a company who is experienced with Drupal (and who is familiar with CCK, views and CiviCRM). Please contact me if you are interested and we can talk further. My real expertise is in theme development, user interface, and graphics design, so your main focus would be on the coding.

The current project is a community-driven website that:
= leverages CCK, node revisions, categories, diff, pathauto, freelinking, WYMeditor and a few text input filters to create a "wiki-style" encyclopedia that can be edited by the community
= allows the community to post events in an event calendar (you'd think this is straightforward, but there are a few quirks that I can't figure out)
= creates an interactive directory (i.e. view) of registered members that can be browsed or searched (to find people whose profile matches certain search criteria).
= this site is international in scope, so we want to allow regional groups and state-level nonprofits to have their own group on the site with their own theme, etc and possibly own domain (if feasible)
= Create quizzes that have questions with video embedded in them
