--- Are you a Drupal Wizard? --- Position available immediately in our London office

--- Are you a Drupal Wizard? ---

We're looking for someone to help us work some serious Drupal magic. We are a company that specialize in producing and delivering online communications for corporate clients. We are starting to build Drupal sites as a richer way of presenting these communications and building online communities. The person we hire will help us both building Drupal sites for clients, as well as help with our own site.

Can you use your css and php magic to turn functional requirements into a work of art, armed only with a computer, Drupal, and your bag of tricks?

Can you create a Drupal site that looks like it was painstakingly and exquisitely coded from scratch?

Can you resist the urge to hack the core, and instead produce code so seamless and elegant that your geeky friends will regale it as the stuff of legends?

Can you help to enlighten and amaze us with your Drupal wizardry?

Requirements:
- must be an advanced php coder, with at least 2-3 years of php experience
- must be skilled at MySQL
- must know CSS like the back of your hand
- must be very skilled at Drupal theming
- must have extensive knowledge of Drupal apis and hooks
- must have extensive experience with cck and views

Nice to haves:
- experience building modules

Work will be done onsite at our London offices.

We are looking for someone to fill a fulltime permanent position, but we will also consider individuals for a 3 month contract.

Module or snippet - default input format

I have a bunch of CCK types - what I want to do is set a default input format for different fields in a content type.

For example - I am using the embedfilter.module to allow embedding of video from youtube. On the input form I have two fields - one for text and one for video code, however as it stands it appears both can use the same input format - which means a user could put the video code in either filed, or in fact in any other field, such as in comments, forum posts etc.

Experienced Drupal Themers

Fast growing company using Drupal as the base system to create templated and semi-custom websites for real estate agent seeks a senior theme developer who can develop high quality themes in a hurry and then modify them as requested by our customers. Lots of work in the pipeline for the right person/company. Need immediate help with 3 projects.

We like phptemplate theme, but aren't stuck on it.

Mapping cck content fields to external db

The project need is to write the existing fields of a cck-content type to an external database. Any new content added is to update the external db as well. I am guessing that writing api calls is the best way to go. This or using the import/export module. Any suggestions?

Get in touch with me using my contact form. Would be great if you could provide past experience .

Seeking Drupal expert for professional multi-install

I am a web designer very familiar w/ drupal (see boegerweb.com) but weak on the php/databases/technical side. I've been getting a lot of requests for musician sites lately (I have some successful non-drupals and one drupal musician site at jakeschepps.com) and I'm thinking it's time for a multi-install. The umbrella site would be supercleanmusic.com (my biz site is supercleanweb.com) so, for example, the subfolder /djgfire would be the site for www.djgfire.com.

So my needs come down to 2 areas:
1) I need a multi-site install done properly by an expert on a hosting plan that will be RELIABLE. I want to do this right the first time. Currently I have drupal accounts at siteground.com but I'm not thrilled w/ the performance. I'd rather insure that thing don't break than be cheap.

2) I have a concept for a "GigEngine" for all of the subsites to share. It would connect event to location in a way where the subsites can share venue location information. When they are listing a gig on their own site, they can (ajax-like) choose a state and then city and then venue in the shared venue database. Then, if somebody clicks on the venue, they see a gmap within that subsite.

I also think it would be pretty cool if the umbrella site could capture all of the clients' upcoming gigs and show on a map or be a filtered list... I think you get the idea.

I'm in a position where my time is better spent selling these to clients than enhancing my own technical skills. Alas, I really hope to build some longterm relationship with Drupal exert(s). Thank you for your consideration, - Jack (jack@boegerweb.com)
