Drupal Developer Needed for Paid Freelancing

Greetings!

I work for a non-profit organization and have budgeted for hiring some help programing a few modules, and other customization for our drupal run website. Any work would be released under the GPL unless otherwise specified.

Projects we need worked on are:

  • Live Moderated Web Discussions - This would be a module written to replace some outdated custom code. The Moderated Web Discussion module would allow us to setup moderated "chats" where a Guest would answer moderated questions as they arrived, at which point the questions and answer would be "published" to the Discussion's webpage. Access would be controlled, and the moderated web discussions could be limited by role. Their would be three aspects to this, the page which the visitors read and submit questions from, the page for the moderator to select questions (and answer them) for the Guest, the Guest's page where the selected questions show up for them to answer, and of course the admin pages.
  • Payflow Pro/Verisign(paypal) Payment Module for eCommerce module - We already know there's one being worked on, but it seems to be stalled, and currently doesn't work on our site. Getting this working is a priority for us. I'd like to see a completed module that "just works" that everyone can use.
  • Various CiviCRM/Drupal integration work, and customization We are starting to utilize CiviCRM and would like to take advantage of more of the advanced features available.

Drupal Developer Needed

Industry: Information Technology/Computer
Occupation: Developer
Location: New York, NY 10013

Description/Details:

Drupal developer needed for recently launched lifestyle site. Client would like to make a round of changes and form an ongoing arrangement with a freelancer (no firms please!), as their site needs evolve.

Current needs involve changes to template/layout and adding database functionality. There are no community elements incorporated - Drupal is used strictly as a CMS in this instance.

Looking for coders to customize modules

Site is a mix of drupal and old/bad code. We are slowly removing the old code with drupal modules while keeping the existing content.

Some of the projects include:
private messaging
lm_paypal
additional payment systems
member notification system
code creation with member discount
events
groups
store
possibly some theming/panel creation
plus others...

Please email me if you are interested and want more information.

Thanks, Joe

Graphic Designer for Theme Creation Desired

I am a coder, and a writer, not a graphic designer. I have a limited budget of $300 USD that I've gotten my partner to approve. I am looking to pay this to an interested party for their work; on the other hand, if you need the service of a PHP/MySQL professional with Drupal experience, I'd be happy to barter you 20 hours of my time. (This project may take you less than 20 hours most likely.)

The job: I am converting the Early Christian Writings and Early Jewish Writings websites over to a Drupal-based CMS (they currently use a limited custom-designed CMS along with some hardcoded HTML pages). I am also developing Early Latin Writings with my partner Chris Weimer, from the ground up in Drupal.

I need a Drupal theme that is comparable to Garland in quality but which gives the feel of a site on classical antiquity. Examples of well-designed sites that I like are http://www.galilean-library.org/academy/ and http://www.eblaforum.org/main/index.php (of course these aren't Drupal sites).

The only artwork that I plan to have different on the three sites (Early [X] Writings) is the logo, which I will provide. So it is essentially a one-theme job that I'm asking.

Please apply for the job to peterkirby@gmail.com with the following info:

Appointment booking/tracking development

Hi, I'm a developer myself but at the moment I've got so much work on, coupled with being ill this week, that I thought I'd through this out to the experts in the community and see what kind of price we're talking for the work. Sure would help me out even though there isn't a deadline as such for this project, I don't like things dragging on. I'm not sure how I'd do this myself so I'm happy if it's just setting up a combination of existing modules or writing a new one. Ideally I like to be working on Drupal 5 but if that causes problems (i.e. big price increase) then working with 4.7 would be fine.

It's a fairly basic appointment booking and tracking system. The company I'm making the site for offers services to clients which at the moment is handled entirely over the phone/fax. They want their clients to be able to register on the website, giving some details about their company which is associated with their user profile, just like on Drupal.org where we all have information about ourselves. Once users are approved they are assigned the role of 'client' and need to be able to book appointments by submitting the following information.

RFP, Custom Schedule Module

Description: We are developing a Kids Summer Camp website and are asking for bids (send privately to zipzipltd@gmail.com) to design a "Build your own schedule" drupal module.

How it works:
The idea of the schedule is to allow users (kids) to drag icons of activities (icons and all base artwork will be provided) to a graphic of a calendar-week, which will be divided into multiple timeslots defined as A,B,C,D. (If an icon is dragged to any slot A, it populates all the slots A in the week). The idea is that this will be FUN for kids to create their own schedules, up to 8 weeks. The finished or partially finished schedules should be saveable and printable.

Goals:
Upon entering the page, if the user has not selected their age previously, they must select it here. (7-9, 10-12, 13-14, or 15-16). As activities are added to the schedule, the goals for their age appear in a list below the schedule. The longer a child stays at camp, the more goals they can achieve (this is the heart of the idea/philosophy behind the module).

Detailed Programming specifications:
The module is essentially rules-based and there is only a small collection of basic rules guiding the module: Rule1) Kids cannot have any single activity more than once per week. Rule2) Rock Climbing and Sailing are double period (AB or CD) Rule3) Swimming is required for the first 4 weeks. it should be pre-filled in an activity period for the week. We will somehow notify them why this is, maybe by a pop-up bubble when they hover over swimming, or try to remove it.

Complete details will be provided to interested parties along with visual mock-ups. The details of each activity, goals, etc. will be provided to the programmer in a well formatted excel file.
