Paid Drupal services

I’m a Professor at the University of Michigan School of Information. From January-April, I’ll be teaching a project-based course where student teams work on behalf of non-profit/non-governmental organizations. Each team of four master’s degree students will design, build, document, and hand off a web-based content/community management system.

Right now, I’m trying to line up clients for these student teams, and experienced mentors.

Client organizations will not pay any fees, but may need to spend more time interacting with the students than they might with professional consultants offering similar services. Mentors, who will typically be professional consultants, will not be paid any fees, but will experience the joy of mentoring talented students, the possibility of recruiting future employees, and a chance to see their own efforts on a pro bono project amplified by the student team.

Neither clients nor mentors need to be local to Ann Arbor, MI, though proximity is a plus. If you might like to serve as a mentor, or you have an idea for a client, I’d love to hear from you. I’d especially like to hear from potential mentors who have a client project in mind, perhaps a really cool project that just didn’t have enough funding to pay your full rates.

We have a new site with educational material and we would like to charge customers for a "premium section". This would consist of a section of the site that requires a login. The payment would be taken care of in person or over the phone, so there is no ecommerce component to this.

We would like the site to be searchable, but only when a client is logged into the premium section do they see the premium search results. I would like to track users very closely. So for any particular subscriber, We would like to know precisely what pages (s)he went to.

We would also like a newsletter sign-up system. On all pages we want a sign-up form. There are 3 different newsletters to sign up for. We would like to be able to create templates for these and have the system store them. There will be images/logo and fancy formatting and not just plain text. Would preferrably like a design "view" of the template that can be visually modified.

Also would like a blog section that is integrated into the (non-premium) search.

The design has already been created but not converted to drupal yet. We like to keep the exact design if possible. There are less than 10 pages.

We would prefer fixed price quotes. If this is not possible, then an approximation of total cost would be appreciated. Please include time frame.

Looking for experienced php/mysql/drupal developer to perform freelance work on an image-sharing website. I have a specific project in mind and I am currently developing the website myself. I am experienced with php and mysql, but not so much drupal.

I am a great person to work with and this is going to be an extremely fun project. I just don't have enough time to move it along as far as I want to, when I want to.

We have an immediate need to hire an experienced web developer who can help us create a handful of sites in Drupal. The project will last 2-4 weeks.

We already have site designs in HTML/CSS and the developer will put these designs into Drupal. The developer will then work with our content writer to help create and launch the sites.

Not only will the developer have experience working with PHP/MySQL applications and functionalities, but also a good understanding of how APIs work, how to integrate them, and the ability to quickly learn new APIs.
