Since posting my Drupal 5 Tour I've received quite a few requests from people looking to build or improve a website using Drupal.

I don't have the spare time to take on large projects but I would like to help people to help themselves using Drupal and WordPress.

So if you are a beginner with Drupal and want to learn how to architect a site yourself then please drop me a line.

I'm from Four Kitchen Studios, the web design and development firm that publishes That Other Paper. We need to build a contact list of talented Drupal themers and designers to handle aspects of several upcoming projects.

and to do so, I have these projects (some are quite easy.. I don't like working with Drupal, so go ahead and profit from that fact!) Really, there are a lot of things that are unsatisfactory about the site, but these things are the most glaring. Most of the problems I'll fix after moving the site to RoR instead of Drupal, but that won't be for months.

i've got a project that demands following functionality:

1) users upload image, text content into available time slots for streaming video "air date" (like a tv show time slot). text->streaming_audio (not part of deliverable, done by other software). each time slot can be considered an appointment for a scheduling system.

2) site administrators will need to be able to designate what time slots are available.

3) site administrators will need 1 click streaming video publishing (for Flash 9) that publishes a show out of a series of appointments.

Web Manager

The Web Manager is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the Institute's websites (calarts.edu and redcat.org). Serving as the Institute's primary website resource, the Manager will oversee and implement web applications and web-based projects to enhance academic and administrative services. The Web Manager reports to the Chief Information Officer and works under the daily direction of the Director of Public Affairs.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for developing web applications using Drupal 5.0, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
* Provide project management for web-based initiatives .
* Manage multiple, simultaneous web project requests with daily release schedules while juggling larger, long-term project deadlines.
* Provide and facilitate training for content providers to publish and maintain up-to-date web content.
* Administer a large user-group in an interactive environment.
* Monitor website traffic and metrics; evaluate and determine strategies for improvement; search engine optimization; address Apache error log.
* Programming for a variety of non-web technology needs.
* Stay abreast of new web technologies, including mobile technology.
* Implement best practices in web-related security.
