Hi Drupal Community,
We are redesigning our main web site and converting it to Drupal. We are looking to hire an experienced Drupal development team, or Ninja, to perform the conversion and educate our web & programming staff so we can handle all future development phases. The RFB is posted at http://www.lawrencehallofscience.com/rfb.
Looking for someone to expand on Robert Douglass' recent work on the SOLR-driven search application in Drupal. Need to expand on the admin interface to interact with SOLR. Also need front end to interact with faceted results, featured results, etc.
Some knowledge of xsl, xslt would probably be very helpful.
Would be willing to contribute back to the community upon completion.
Healthier News is in need of a new Content Management System to build and manage the newest version of the Health Sciences Institute Website, which will be accessed by both subscribed members (Members who subscribe to our print newsletter) and users who may come upon the site as part of a general search. It is estimated that this website is accessed by over 300,000 individuals each month.
In addition to the Health Sciences Institute, there are other publications managed by Healthier News. In the future, we would like to create similar sites for our other publications, so it is very important that this CMS/Site structure be scalable.
Timeline:
We are interested in launching this new website as quickly as possible during Q1 of 2008. If this is not possible please provide a modified timeline. The goal is to choose a vendor and development team by 12/1/07. Healthier News will be readily available to answer any questions about the RFP.
Website/Project Overview:
The HSI Website (www.hsibaltimore.com) is a content-based archive site that contains thousands of “articles” or documents in different formats. We are currently utilizing the CMS “Site Executive” to manage this content.
Exploration Summer Programs, a non-profit academic summer program, is seeking an experienced Drupal developer to create an alumni website that will feature rotating articles by "issue date," user login and profiles, and a forum. The project will be delivered with fully developed wire-frame mockups and custom theme design specs. The beta version of the site should be completed by the second week in December, and needs to be scaleable for high volume traffic.
I represent a non-profit organization looking to create a new website. I am looking for quotes for building it using Drupal. Following is a wish-list of features we want our website to include.
