Paid Drupal services

HiDef Web Solutions, LLC, seeks an expert Drupal programmer to support the development of a Client’s Drupal website part-time. Many installed modules and modified files require the programmer to have previous experience with digging into core files. We expect the chosen expert to commit an average of 15-20 hours a week to the company, with the possibility of future work focused on some of our other Drupal projects.

Requirements
• Advanced LAMP development experience
• Prior experience installing, configuring, and maintaining a Drupal project
• Knowledge of CiviCRM, especially CiviContribute to manage donations and gather information
• Willingness to work three hours/day within our normal business day: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, although it may not always be required. This is to ensure effective communication.
• Communicate regularly through Skype and our project management software.

Duties:
• Working with our designers to implement themes
• Maintaining and enhancing customizations in the Drupal E-commerce module including changes to the cart pages, the address book, the payment page, adding donations as a line item in the cart, and a custom product adding and editing backend.
• Maintaining and enhancing our client’s multimedia offerings including podcasts and promotional videos.
• Working with our SEO team to ensure best practices site-wide.

phpBB3 in the meanwhile has been released (GOLD) - and the modifications can go straight back to to the community.

1) User Sharing - besides login and passwords being the same on both
systems + Unified Login (registration only through
Drupal rather than phpBB...) - By unified login i mean if i log into
the Drupal system - if I visit the forums, i'm logged in - and vice
versa...

2) Comment system on Drupal web site uses phpBB (like http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Canon-HV20-Camcorder-Review.htm - bottom of the page)

The triggers to Topic creation on the forum shouldn't be too
diffecult:

We'd have to differentiate - probably write a module for Drupal - so
each content type (Article, Story, Comment, ...) can be configured
(through the Admin interface) to where and how (topic name wise) the
auto-created topic would be created (pick which Forum from the Forum
list - fetching the Forum names would be welcomed to avoid manually
fetching the forum id)

It's a one way street, only Drupal initiates the auto-creation of
topic - it would be nice though to be able to Tie an existing forum
topic into an existing drupal Node (manually entering the id i guess
would be easiest)

Would using a install profile be the same thing as inserting a pre made sites database table into the table with a different prefix? Hope that makes sense.

I have a group of artists that are promoted by one manager(me). I want them to sign up on the manager's site (a drupal core site) eg manager.com and be able to create their own music stores. eg http://manager.com/artist/tom, http://manager.com/artist/amy or http://artisttom.manager.com, http://artistamy.manager.com

The registration page should have two options

1. artist
2. fan

while registering a username should be chosen that will be the permanent url for the artist or fan

artists will have the "artist" before their name in the url
fans will have the "fan" before their name in the url

these urls will be permanent and cannot be altered

These individual stores will be selling downloads (music, videos, screen savers, ringtones) all media will have a preview, (audio & video with a 1 min clip; screen savers with a thumbnail)

Each artist will have their own paypal or payment gateway associated with their store, and a subdomain or url like manager.com/artistname or artistname.manager.com

Something like www.soundclick.com but much better

other optional features could inlcude, but not limited to ticket sales, interview sections, free downloads, etc
