I've been spec'ing out a relatively large web site and have decided i'd like to use Drupal, mostly because of its ability to satisfy a rigid functional requirement set.
I'd like to hire a developer to assist in implementing the following functional requirements. I'm hoping they can help me line up the modules and extensions, or discuss custom work needed, to fulfill the requirements. I have much more detail on the site layout and fields needed and can disclose once i've got some rates, timeline information, and a signed NDA from anyone interested.
1. Excerpt module is installed, but the excerpt field is not showing up on the create content field. I've installed the excerpt module on other sites so I don't know why this is happening.
I got a need for a few Drupal tweaks below. Can you help me?
1.Login/out user panel - There's a default one provided by Drupal, but I
want certain parts of the sites exclusive and available for only registered
while others that visit those pages would get a message similar to "please
register" or something similar. I would like something done on the user
group as well. Just a basic message boards for user groups, pictures.
I am a freelance Drupal developer but I have a bit too much on my plate and I'm looking for another EXPERIENCED Drupal developer to create a module for me. I'll handle creating the rest of the site...just need the module.
Basically, the module needs to allow a user to post nodes that are debate invitations with a certain statement ("smoking is bad for your health") and some variables about the debate, such as the number of rounds, length of each response, etc. Other users can then post responses to the debate invitation ("smoking is NOT bad for your health", etc). Once the original poster chooses an opposing statement, the actual debate starts.
Each user will have a specified amount of time (such as 24 hours) to post their argument, with each debate running a certain number of rounds (like 3). Users can comment on any of the debate arguments. Once the debate is over, users can vote on who won the debate.
