Five New Years resolutions I'm posting on behalf of (potential) clients ;) Hopefully this will facilitate even more mutually beneficial Drupal projects in 2008!
I have a live site, which does not have flexibility because of the way it was written in the first place. I am looking to have it redone.
Here are the main features of the site:
1. User registration with custom profiles and avatars.
2. User submission of entries, which ill contain:
a. multiple pictures (thumbnails will be needed).
b. several pre-set fields and several free-text fields.
3. News/blog block.
4. User interaction - private messages and message board.
I'm running drupal 4.7.2 and want to pay someone $200 to help me upgrade to the highest 5.X version. I'll need the upgrade to be done either on January 1st or next Saturday or Sunday(Jan 5-6), because my website is very active during regular business days so I want to do it when there is little traffic.
The site is also running a third party pay subscription script(amember), so I need to make sure that it will work once the upgrade is complete. I don't think it will be a problem, because there are people running drupal 5.X that are using this script.
Whoever does the upgrade will need to backup my database and drupal files first.
These are the modules I'm using so those not built in will need to be upgraded:

I need help for http 500 / http 403 errors of my drupal site. You can see the details at http://drupal.org/node/203315. I will give you the FTP details.
I have a website, www.thewomensnest.com, which has a forum and a blog. I want to combine them all with the front page having the top few discussions in the forum show, as well as have it all sort of interact with each piece instead of the forum and blog being completely different. I also need to be able to have admin abilities to block/delete/edit what users input.
